He's got a heart of gold and as forgiving as a saint. Unfortunately, every horse has a limit to what they'll tolerate when it comes to the person on their back. The owner became stiff in his lower back, affecting the horses' movement. He began stopping at fences, something he had never done before. After bout of sliding stops and devious run-outs, Glad lost his confidence and was injuring his owner's back even more. It was at this point that I was offered the chance to take over his training, with the job of simplifying the horse's world.
Here's my second lesson riding him. He looks happy to be doing his job!
